About William Morris Compton Buttercup Roller Blind
A stunning conversational piece, the Compton Buttercup Roller Blind comes with a story to tell.
Part of our William Morris range, in collaboration with the V&A, Compton was produced in 1896 for Compton Hall, near Wolverhampton, the house of Laurence W. Hodson.
Originally believed to be William Morris’ last design, Compton is now acknowledged as the work of John Henry Dearle (1860–1932).
