The William Morris Compton Velvet Ink curtain in collaboration with the V&A is simply breathtaking.
Originally produced in 1896 for Compton Hall near Wolverhampton, this was once believed to be Morris’ last design, but it is now recognised as the work of John Henry Dearle, who had worked for Morris since 1878.
With a rich colour palette of reds, blues, greens and yellows, this design really is a showstopper. The contemporary shades are a vibrant combination, style with hints of yellow and darker hues or simple crisp white to let the curtains be the feature.
